The McHenry County Fair is a loved, annual tradition and celebration dating back to the 1940’s in McHenry County. However, the organization reached out after a steady decline in attendance and participation for a modern website build and marketing plan to attract a younger (Gen X and Gen Z) audience.

We evaluated and decided the McHenry County Fair needed a full rebrand and social media content strategy in addition to a modern and mobile-friendly website. The consistent branding, social posting, and various print and digital marketing (including Google Ads and YouTube) increased attendance across all ages. By year two attendance returned to pre-pandemic levels. Social media following has doubled and continues to grow.

We are now on year three with the McHenry County Fair and we are eager to achieve another record breaking year.
